Wargames: Open Source


After list down the feature that i want to have, i think that i should looking around for some open source wargames. Not because i do not want to build it from scratch , it is better to modify the existing engine to make it better. This is beautiful of open source. Right now, i browse a list of wargames at sourceforge.net and surprised to see there are a lot to choose.

If you want to join me in this madness, contact me at ahmadhaq@gmail.com. We will think, share and modify together to build the first MMO wargames (actually for several of our friend. :D )

Main apa? kalau projek 0wargames:open source aku tu, masih lagi dalam frasa design, pendek kata, belum buat lagi.hihihihi. Ko, Semut biasa main games apa?

Yeah, after clearing all games in my pc except EVE Online and Empire Total War, i feel something is missing. A FPS game. So i install back my COD4. Man i got owned last night by 12 years old kids. Napoleon Total War Campaign of Coalition (Russia) 2

Play as Russia in single player campaign, you will start on the most east die of the map, that's mean you dont have to worry the east side of you and focus on the west. On the north , you have Finland region which owned by Denmark. The Russia government demand Finland to return back in Russia territory and i prepare an army on Finland border. My standard setup for my army consisted of 1 General's Staff, 4 Light Calvary companies, 3 Canon squads and 12 Foot Infantry companies. I build a transport ship in 1 month ( 2 turns) to transport my army to Finland region. The Russia territory is so vast and it takes time to move soldiers from my capital city to the west border. Not many my capital towns can produce good soldiers. Most of good soldiers only can be trained in Moscow and 2 other capital cities. Logistic is quite quite weak in Russia territory.
